Admissions

ADMISSIONS 2024

Secondary school applications for September 2024 will be open Monday 4th September 2023.

 

Admissions to Year 7 in September 2024 is set out below.  We also welcome admissions from parents of learners wishing to join the school in any year.

If you would like to look around the school please do not hesitate to contact the Headteachers PA, Ms Mary Kelly, who will arrange a visit for you with the Headteacher or a member of her Leadership Team, who will be very happy to show you around the school and answer any questions you may have.  Visits are welcome at any time.

Admissions Timeline

Admissions to Year 7 open:  4th September 2023

Closing date for applications considered to be on time:  6th November 2023

Offers confirmed by:  1st March 2024

Deadline for accepting / declining offers:  2 weeks after date.

 

As Ysgol Emrys ap Iwan is a Foundation School you need to complete both the schools application form and the LA application form for either Conwy or Denbighshire, depending which county you live in.  See links below:

From time to time there will be places available in various year groups.  If you are moving into the area or have already moved,  please contact our Admissions Office as soon as possible.

If you are moving schools within our locality please make sure you have discussed the possible move with your child’s present school and have tried to resolve any issues before considering making an application.
