In your email you should identify the person who will be collecting the certificates and they should bring with them proof of who they are and a written note from you. Certificates will not be issued to a 3rd party without your written permission (no text messages allowed).
Collection of Exam Certificates
As you will be aware, examination certificates are a vital piece of evidence for all learners in order to demonstrate their achievements. We realise that for some learners, arranging to come back into school to collect their certificates after they have left presents a number of issues.
We are offering a new service this year, where for a small contributory payment of £3 per learner, we will post certificates directly to the learner once they are received and logged in school (usually the December after they sit their exam). This service has been put in place in response to feedback from learners. This opportunity will be open to all learners in Years 11, 12 and 13 this year who feel that it would be useful for them. Learners do not have to use this service, and can instead collect their certificates by mutual agreement with the exams team; however, we suggest that this presents the quickest, easiest way to receive certificates this year for learners.
In order to pay for certificate postage, you will need to log into Wisepay, and process your payment through there. Payment should be received by the end of the summer term. Once we receive your payment, learners will need to go to see Mrs Anne Hoare (Sixth Form Assistant Pastoral Leader located in the 6th Form Common Room) to complete an envelope with the details of postage on.
Please note that, once certificate postage has been paid for, we will be unable to issue a refund should the learner then collect the certificates in person.

Contingency Day Details
The awarding bodies have designated Wednesday 29 June 2022 as a ‘contingency day’ for examinations. The designation of a ‘contingency day’ within the common examination timetable is in the event of national or local disruption to examinations. It is part of the awarding bodies’ standard contingency planning for examinations. Centres must therefore remind candidates that they must remain available up until and including Wednesday 29 June 2022 should an awarding body need to invoke its contingency plan.
