Businesses Sponsor New Rugby Kits
Aspiring rugby stars at a High School in Abergele have been backed by several local businesses who have sponsored their new kits for them.
Estate Agents McCoubrey Cooke, Crossfit brand Pilgrim Fitness, Leyland Training Services and Abergele Rugby Club have all pitched in to help purchase the schools’ new rugby strips.
Ysgol Emrys Ap Iwan School’s Rugby Hub Officer Chris Meyers said: “I would like to say a massive thank you to all of those who have sponsored our rugby kits this year. It will allow both boys and girls teams to look the part during their school matches.
“Many Learners in key stage three have benefited in both curricular and extra-curricular involvement in both tag and contact rugby – some representing the school in local interschool and Conwy Urdd competitions.
“Learners are now feeding into the club structure at Abergele rugby club.”
